A freelance audio engineer with 10+ years experience, Jason Martinez can help you bring your sonic vision to life. With a passion for mixing, Jason adds that shine to your project — whether it’s audio for picture or music production. With the skills of a producer, arranger, and recording engineer, Jason can help take a basic song idea into a fully realized production.

Jason started recording bands at age 14 in his parents’ living room — and anywhere else he could find space.   He began his professional career learning the art of post production as an intern for Frank Serafine in Los Angeles. Jason later attended Pyramind Institute in San Francisco, focusing mainly on music production. While there Jason lived in an artist collective with Encyclopeda Pictura, Honeymoon Tree, and a community of other artists and musicians.  Jason sharpened his music production skills considerably by helping these artists realize their various projects which paved the way for the passionate, involved production method that Jason relies on today, after over a decade of experience recording bands.

Recently Jason returned to doing post production for Big Picture Ranch, Wondermouse, and other projects made by independent filmmakers.
